I had a very good stay for 2 nights. the lodge is based in a truly lovely building in an excellent and unbeatable location, very close to Cheshire Oaks shopping village.

What a comfortable stay, no complaints. Welcoming staff and savoury breakfast with exceptional products. Good service offered. Not to mention good wifi! Easy, brilliant location adjacent to town centre, the bar and beer garden, and Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Besides, easy access to All Saints' Church.

Our suite had a large walk-in shower and lovely decor, and we were conveniently close to local shops.

enjoyed the period building it was also comfortable beer was good and pub food was exceptable, Room rate was fine. I will return when next in area.
Bedroom was very warm had to turn one of the two radiators off. [not sure that was a down side though]

A nice view of the street from the window. You can grab hot drinks from the outdoor bar, and the service is good. the inside is modern and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. 🌟

Fantastic place with accommodating and pleasant staff. Tasty breakfast with a variety of brilliant food. - Great location in a lovely area, and only about 20 minutes' walk to Chester centre.

Couldn't fault it. Will definately return, and have already recommended it to 2 friends. Crisp linen, hot water throughout the day. Good breakfast, and bar meals. Within easy reach of Chester town centre, and railway station.
Would have liked the Bawn to serve bar meals after 6.00pm, perhaps til 8.00pm, although with how busy the staff were extra meals may have caused problems.
